As the album's debut single suggested, Deep in the Water explores the trials and frustrations of the common men and women living in today's America. With the fury that only classic Rock N Roll can evoke, the band unleashes its outrage toward America's unfulfilled promises – jobs lost, factories shuttered – but at the same time, they explore the joys that can be found buried beneath the rubble of hardship. It's The Gary Douglas Band's mission to make sure these people are not forgotten. And to do so, they're using music's most legendary genre: Rock.
