"Just Friends" is a love letter to Pop. With elements of Jazz, Alternative and even Hip Hop, we wanted to make an "in-between love" song that encapsulates all of what makes Pop great. What do we mean by "in-between love" song? Well -- we've all asked that question: "Are we Just Friends?" We've all be in that awkward in between stage not knowing how to move forward or if its even the right move. So this is an ode to all those in-betweeners out there!
Info on Band - With a name as ambiguous as Versa the Band, you have to wonder, what is this 'band'? The project, a music collective, was first created at the start of 2019. Originating from Long Island, New York, Versa the Band made it a priority to create music that was genreless; a discography for anyone to listen to. Currently, the band is comprised of creator, Ethan Felizzari and accompanied by Ryan Brown, Jon Maybaum, Colton Lava and other artists, producers and engineers.
Their sound blends traditional Pop with hints of Rock, Jazz, Soundscape and more. Their influences include artists like Bon Iver, James Blake, Rosalia, Bruno Mars & Jason Mraz. With songs like "Oxy", "Don't Be Alone", "Just Friends" & "Pearl", Versa the Band shows their true individuality and drive to share very personal stories.
